What personal information we collect

Our Site is for individuals who are at least 13 years old
Aveli does not knowingly request or collect personal information from anyone younger than 13 years old without prior consent from a parent or legal guardian. Please contact info@avelijewelry.com if you believe your child under age 13 has submitted personal information to Aveli without prior parental or legal guardian consent so that we can take steps to delete the information.

How we collect personal information
We collect personal information in various ways, both directly and indirectly. For example, when you send us postal mail, email our customer care team, fill out a form on our Websites, place an order through the Websites, we collect your information directly. We collect personal information when you provide it
We may collect personal information directly from you or your device as follows:
- When you register for an Aveli account, it is necessary for you to provide personal information that includes your name and email address. You may choose to provide us with additional personal information, including billing, mailing, and shipping addresses, phone number, and a payment method (e.g., credit card). If you make purchases through the Websites you may also create a username and password, information that on subsequent visits helps us confirm your identity and makes it easier for you to make purchases on our Websites.
- When you shop with us, either through the Websites, we store your browsing history, what you searched for, including when you use our style personalization tools, what you have saved for later, and when you ask us to notify you about items that go on sale or come back in stock and what you bought (if you make a purchase).
- When you interact with Aveli, contact our customer care team, participate in a contest or sweepstakes, respond to a survey, engage in a promotional activity, register to attend an event or appointment, or apply for employment.
- When you sign up to receive emails, including marketing communications.
We collect personal information from third-party sources
To better understand your preferences, operate our business, and provide you with products and services we believe you will love, we may receive your personal information from the following third parties:
- Aveli, Inc. and the Aveli family of brands and companies you have interacted with.
- Online social networks if you follow Aveli or any of our brands on social media sites, for example, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok or Pinterest. We may collect personal information when you communicate with us within the social media sites or use functionalities, plugins, widgets, or tools from social media platforms or networks in connection with our Websites (e.g., to log into an account, or to share inspiration, finds, purchases, and other content with your friends and followers on social media) or when you click “Share This” or “Like” buttons. We think it is important to point out that if you make a post on a social media site, such as on Facebook, Instagram, or Pinterest, or identify us in your social media feed by tagging us using a hashtag (#) or “at” (@), your personal information may be publicly available and is subject to the privacy policies of those social media sites. We collect personal information using automated technologies
- Personal information is also collected through automated technologies and shared with us when you visit our Websites, open an email, or click on one of our advertisements.

We use third-party analytics providers
We use analytics services, including Google Analytics, to better understand how customers use our Websites to improve those technologies and optimize your experience and interactions. We may share feedback you provide to us
We are excited when customers want to share feedback with us about the products and services they have purchased and what we offer. If you submit an online review, including if you include a photo, please be aware that this feedback may be publicly shared and used by us on the Websites without compensation or attribution. Your options and legal disclosures
We recognize that you want choice not only in the products and services we offer but also in how your personal information is used and shared. We currently offer the following choices and options:

Please keep in mind that you if you opt-out of receiving marketing messages, you will still receive transactional and service-related e-mails from us (such as e-mails related to your orders, correction of personal information, password reset requests, reminder e-mails you have requested, updates to our terms and policies and other similar communications essential to your transactions on the Websites) that may be necessary for us to make the Websites available to you or respond to your inquiries.
- Telephone Choices (calls and texts). You may opt out of receiving text messages by texting “Stop” at the end of any message you receive, or to opt out of marketing or advertising calls, by contacting us through one of the methods specified in the " Contact Us" section below and sharing the phone number that you would like to opt out.
For our customers residing in California
California law requires that we provide certain disclosures, including a description of legal rights, to those who reside in the state of California. If you are a California resident and an Aveli customer, this section applies in addition to all other applicable rights and information contained in this Policy.
As a California resident, you have the right to request:
- Information on third parties. no more than once during any 12-month period, that we provide you with information on the third parties we have shared your personal information with for their own direct marketing purposes.
- Deletion of information. You may request that we delete the personal information that we, or our service providers, store about you.
- Additional information requests. No more than twice during any 12-month period, that we provide you with the following information for the 12-month period prior to your request:
- The categories and the specific pieces of your personal information we collected and store about you. Please refer to the "What personal information we collect" section in this Policy to understand the categories of personal information we may have collected about you.
- The categories of sources from which we collected your personal information. Please see the "How we collect personal information" section in this Policy to understand the sources from which we receive personal information.
- The purpose(s) for which we collected or “sold” your personal information. Please see the "How we use personal information" section in this Policy to understand the purposes for which we use your personal information.
- The categories of your personal information we “sold” and the categories of third parties to whom we “sold” your personal information.
- The categories of your personal information we disclosed for any business purpose. Please see the “When we share your personal information” section in this Policy to understand what personal information we disclosed and the business purpose for doing so.
Additional rights of California residents
- Sale of information. Regarding the “sale” of your personal information (as mentioned above), we want to be clear: we do not provide your personal information to other companies for money. We do, however, share your personal information with companies that help our business, including marketing and advertising companies that support our marketing and advertising efforts. These companies are our Service Providers (as that term is defined under the CCPA).
- Exercising Your Rights. If you are a California consumer, you may exercise your California privacy rights to request access, deletion or disclosure (as detailed above within this section) by sending us an email at info@avelijewelry.com. You also have the right to designate an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf. Please see the “Identity Verification Requirement” section below for more information on our process for verifying we have received a legally valid request.
- Non-discrimination. Rest assured, Aveli will not discriminate or retaliate against you if you elect to exercise any rights under this section of our Policy. If you would like an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf, please send us an email at info@avelijewelry.com for instructions and additional information we need to respond to a request when submitted by an authorized agent.
- Do-not-track Disclosure. Some browsers offer a “Do Not Track” privacy preference. Generally, when a user turns on the Do Not Track Signal, their browser sends a message to websites requesting that the user not be tracked. Our Websites currently do not respond to “Do Not Track” signals.
- Identity Verification Requirement. The law requires that we validate the identity and legal authority associated with any personal information request for a California customer. As a result, we may require that you take additional steps to validate your identity and legal authority, particularly where you make a request through email. If you make a request, we will send a message to the email address you provided in your request and you must follow the instructions in that email for us to verify your request. We will begin processing your request once you have completed the verification process.
- Timing. We will provide a response to any personal information request within the timeframe required by law. If we cannot substantively respond to your request in a timely manner, we will notify you and provide the reason for the delay.
- Circumstances in which we cannot fulfill requests. Under certain circumstances, we may not be able to fulfill your request, such as when doing so would interfere with our regulatory or legal obligations, where we cannot verify your identity, or if your request involves disproportionate cost or effort. But we will respond to your request within a reasonable time, as required by law, and provide an explanation.
How we secure personal information
We have implemented industry-accepted administrative, physical, and technology-based security measures to help protect against lost, misuse and alteration of your personal information in our possession and under our control. We ensure that our employees, contractors, and third-party service providers who have access to personal information in our systems acknowledge their obligations and commit to safeguarding that information.
While we use commercially acceptable means to protect your personal information, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100 percent secure. As a result, we cannot guarantee the absolute security of your personal information. We strongly encourage you to take steps to help protect the confidentiality and security of your account information (including your personal information), including by:
- Reviewing your Aveli account periodically and immediately reporting any unexpected activity or unrecognized information
- Installing the latest security updates and anti-virus software on your computer to help prevent malware and viruses
- Using a complex password that includes a minimum of 7 alpha/numeric and cAsE sEnsitive characters
- Not using the same password for more than one online account
- Not sharing your password
- Password protecting your computer and mobile device
- Signing out/logging off the Website once you have completed your session or transaction so that your session is closed, especially when using a public computer
- Please be aware that you may come in contact with websites, or receive emails, or texts that try to lure you into providing personal information with an offer such as a Aveli Gift Card. Aveli does not sponsor or endorse these offers.
